Fluorolube® Oil
For the highest performing longest-lasting oils in industrial lubricants, Fluorolube® oil is the preferred brand for global manufacturers. Our product performs greatly on all metallic surfaces (except copper, aluminum, and magnesium). The oils used in Fluorolube® consist of saturated hydrogen-free, low-molecular-weight polymers of chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE).
- High-temperature performance
- Non-flammability
- Chemical inertness under a variety of demanding conditions.
Our oils are preferred by manufacturers partly due to its compatibility with a variety of elements: chlorine, oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, red fuming nitric acid, and other strong oxidizing agents. As part of our commitment to providing high quality, safe products, Fluorolube® oil is non-flammable and is suitable in applications requiring stability and performance in strongly acidic and/or oxidizing environments.
SOLUBILITY:
- Lower viscosity Fluorolube oils are soluble in most organic liquids, but solubility DECREASES as viscosity increases.
- ALL FLUOROLUBE OILS AND GREASES ARE SOLUBLE IN AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS: acid, alkaline, or neutral.
Fluorolube oils and greases dissolve gases readily.
Use Fluorolube oils and greases interchangeably with hydrocarbon oils to lubricate a wide range of standard equipment such as bearings, compressors, gear boxes and oil pumps.
*We do NOT recommend Fluorolube Oils and greases for use in contact with sodium or potassium metal.
Fluorolube® GREASE
Choosing the right liquid lubricant can make a huge difference in the efficiency of your manufacturing facility. Fluorolube® greases and fluids are long-lasting and deliver superior performance on all metallic surfaces (except copper, aluminum, and magnesium). Our greases consist of saturated, hydrogen-free, low-molecular-weight polymers of chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) and are highly recommended in applications requiring stability and performance in strongly acidic and/or oxidizing environments. Versatile enough to interact with chlorine, oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, red fuming nitric acid, and other strong oxidizing agents, Fluorolube® grease is non-flammable and serves many unique applications.
